MC B began Mcing life as a versatile urban music MC. Developing his style in many Drum&Bass, Garage, Hip Hop and R&B raves around the UK. However the lure of the UK Bounce sound proved irresistible. He initially built up his dance music reputation mcing in the clubs of Merseyside such as Heaven, Baton Rouge, RSVP, The Conti, Streets, Arena, The Barcelona and Aquarium to name but a few. His big break came when childhood friend Mike Di Scala formed the Resonance Q group bringing MC B in as one half of the act. This allowed him to sample club life UK wide as they embarked on a successful tour to promote their Someday single. The successes of this allowed him to perform PA’s for Ultrabeat, Klubrockers, Sosumi, AK Project, Outsource, Rudedog and Sound Selectaz. His performances brought him to the attention of the Pleasure Rooms who recruited him to their already successful team. Their JUICE FM radio show enabled his lyrical, innovative and rhythmic mcing style to be brought to a wider audience each and every weekend. Every summer they could be seen performing events around Europe particularly Spain, Greece & Cyprus as well as major Clubs up and down the UK and Ireland. Though an established multi-style dance music performer; B has not forgotten his urban music roots regularly hosting events that feature such artists as Tim Westwood, Trevor Nelson, DJ Spoony, Heartless Crew, Steve Smooth Sutherland, Fatman Scoop, Lethal Bizzle & Fire Camp. This has allowed him to perform within huge urban music shows such as Garage Nation, Twice As Nice and Sidewinder. Ben also formed a group known as Strictly Vybz which is an innovative dance collective consisting of 2 DJs and 3 MCs. They tour the country bringing their own brand of innovative urban/bounce house style to the dance music clubs of the UK. Their music releases were amongst the most popular in the North West of England and bring a unique blend of quality lyrics and bouncy, energetic house favours. Following on from this MC B joined the crème de la crème of UK Bounce dance collectives Frequency, Sanctuary and Pumpingland. Alongside their other prominent artists they perform all around the UK and Europe, bringing entertainment to their cult following wherever they are. MC B’s great performances saw him three times nominated for The Bounce Heaven Awards MC of the Year. MC B’ then decided to add another niche to his music portfolio by teaming up with the legendary MC Whizzkid who added him to his exclusive Broken Records stable. This has allowed him to enter into the realm of D&B and Hardcore Music. This move has seen him feature on such events as HTID, Uproar, W.A.H, Ravers Reunited, TOWIH, TLI, Northern Underground, Phuture Beats, Monta, Raverbaby, New Wave & Horizon. MC B then switched gears and began to mix with the dance music mainstream. He was part of platinum selling artist Basshunter’s Bass Generation UK tour, hosting all the events. This coupled with his appearances on various global Clubland events marked MC B out as a must have host at events. For the past decade MC B has been touring and making music with the global platinum selling dance music band N-Trance. This has enabled him to showcase his energetic & magnetic stage presence to a massive global audience. MC B's most recent development has seen him realise a lifelong dream allowing his hosting talents to reach the mainstream following his link up with Matchroom Boxing & Sky Sports as an In Ring Announcer. The future continues to look very bright for this gifted multi talented performer.
