This show brings you a nice mix of grooving house music that takes influence from the disco and funky house era’s. From warm up sets to Chilled out grooves it’s the perfect soundtrack for anytime of the day. Chris started out with his first set of decks at the young age of 12.  Playing mainly hardcore and trance before moving into the more pumping Dutch house that would have been heard in the likes of the 051 and Buzz clubs. After listening to some of the early ministry of sound albums and Pete Tong he ventured into the more vocal house scene. At 16 he got a job as a glass collector in the Arrowe Park pub. At the time it was a feeder bar for Cream with a ticket seller and coach to the venue. He pestered and pestered the manager who eventually let him DJ there and the crowd loved it! He managed to play and warm up for the likes of Brandon Block, Alex P, Lisa Pin-Up and local legend Dave Graham who is also now on In Demand Radio.  Chris’s love of music and all things vinyl led him to working in record shops like Seeds in Birkenhead and Bold Street records in Liverpool. From there he had spells working on the promo team for garlands getting flyers and posters across the northwest and was lucky to play there for a night called “Reputation” on the same bill as laidback Luke. Chris came away from the mainstream club sound and delved into the underground sound for a number of years being part of the team that ran club night Av Verde running popup events in unusual venues. He had a couple of tracks signed to BulletDodge records under the alias of “Chapman”. As time went on Chris realized he wanted to go back to his roots of that uplifting funky vibed house music. Having held residency’s in various venues and guested across not just the Northwest of England but the whole of the UK, he landed his first radio show on what was Wirral radio 97.1. Through working with the indemand team on the massive Reminisce Festival Chris has now found his home on In Demand Radio and is loving every minute of it. Bringing you his signature sound of upfront feel good house music.
